I was watching EWTN and at midnight when daily mass was schedueled to be broadcast they instead showed a Joel Osteen service. With my cable network we have 2 EWTN stations one main one and a secondary one wich will show the programs that are scheduled when they change the programing on the main network. Mass was shown as scheduled on the secondary network. I am, however confused as to why they would show a protestant service in the place of mass on a Catholic television network. Should they have done this. I just think they could have confused people if they were not firmiliar with Catholicism. Say someone who is interested in Catholicism and decides to watch mass, they may not know the difference. Heck when he was talking about God saving blessing everyone and being holy will lead to a successful life, bissnuess ,money ect. i was a litle confused myself:blush:. Was it O.K. for them to have done this?🤷

Could very well be that EWTN doesn’t have that station 24/7, perhaps Joel Olstene was put on by your local cable provider (thinking hey, it’s all religious stuff anyway) rather than by EWTN.

I . Was it O.K. for them to have done this?
I don’t know who “them” is and what you mean by “secondary” network, but if you are paying your cable or satellite provider for premium channels to get EWTN and they pre-empted it, you should complain to them because you are being ripped off.
