I know there is none biblical evidence for this and the acts of Thomas are non cannonical but do you think that Thomas was realy in India? Also are we Catholics allowed to believe that he was and died in India?
Church tradition tells us that St Thomas traveled to India. He established what would become the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church and the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church among others.![]()
According to Church tradition of the Malabar Christians, this is true. There are also many historical manuscripts and ancient writings on Copper Plates of Thomas in India. The Knanaya Community also has a numerous number of ancient songs of the works of Thomas and his people.I know there is none biblical evidence for this and the acts of Thomas are non cannonical but do you think that Thomas was realy in India?
