Washing of the Feet: Women "apostles"

In this context, I don’t think the argument is applicable. Because unlike priesthood, this isn’t an infallible issue and the male requirement would be there for symbolism’s sake. Unlike a priest.

One could also say if Jesus wanted Asian men, he would have chosen Asian men.
 
I feel as though you missed the point my friend. I was part of the group that had went up and had their feet washed first. My church invites the Elect and those who seek confirmation to come up first. (See picture below) It’s a reminder that we as Catholics need to serve each other no matter who they are, nobody is higher than the other and to love one another. The woman who’s I washed said to me “I love you so much my dear. Much love and many blessings.” And when you think about it, in some form, we’re apostles of Christ (at least I hope we live in a way to be like them).
