Watchtower involvement with the UN

There are other sources on this but I can’t find them at the moment, look up watchtower on the UN site.

All anybody ever wants to do is post negative things. That’s real nice.

Well, I’m done anyway. Just thought I’d see what the current piece of propaganda was about. Fascinating.

The sad thing is, I"ve tried my whole life to talk to people of all religions and they’ve been patient and understanding and even admitted I’ve made good points. You people won’t give an inch even when you know I’m right because that would just be so bad. So detrimental to your beliefs. So why do I bother? Guess I won’t anymore. There. You’re rid of me. You can go back to your JW bashing in this forum with no JWs to set people straight on our beliefs. Just like you all like it.

If anything that we have posted is not true - please set us straight. It’s not a matter of someone being “right” or winning an argument - it’s about the facts. Several posters have posed questions from the Bible - and have provided copies of the WT publications themselves. I’m not certain about the validity of this particular accusation - the Watchtower involvment with the UN (although the Society’s own letter regarding their involvement is a bit daming, don’t you think?) but all the others on the other threads… rather than discuss the issues, you’ve decided we’re just “bashing you.”

That is so not true. We’d love to discuss the very specific beliefs of the Watchtower - but I’ll warn you… the people here are very knowledgeable when it comes to scripture and Church history. I know from working out in sevice myself that’s not what you’re used to coming against?!

As I said… please correct any errors we have made in regards to the WT??

Jaded, I was not bashing the JW religion, this is just facts I got people have even rang the information desk at the UN and asked about this, and the Watchtower itself, this UN involvement has been discussed on ex-jw sites a fair bit.

What is so bashing about it? I’m sorry jaded if you are upsetted by this.
