I have been diagnosed with anxiety/depression. I do not want it to rule my life. For now, I am too scared to fly so I book trains to places. I am mostly scared of dying an untimely tragic death. Unfortunately I have known a few people who have. I would hate to die or for anyone to die a painful, untimely death. Things are what they are. It is the pain and unfamiliarity with death that scares me. I wish I could live to my 70s or beyond. How can I not let fear determine my choices? I have to be realistic for now I am not flying anytime soon or getting on roller-coasters. When I hear people die I think all their hopes and dreams have just gone away. The answer is pray and do not worry. Worrying is my go-to. I want safety and certainty.
