We all know we can never win.
For example,
3.I have to walk across the parking lot and have to wait to cross the street to get to the main campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It takes forever to get over there sometimes. I swear, everytime I have to walk over, it’s always cold or snowy. Talk about turning into an icicle. But on the days I don’t have to walk over, that’s when it’s nice out.
4.A student who has a project is really freaking out because they think it’s due tomorrow. But when they get to school the next day, that’s when they find out it’s not due for another week. But, if they decided not to get it done thinking it was due next week, that’s when it’s due tomorrow.
Is there a reason why this happens?

For example,
- You lost something valuable and you look and look and just can’t find the thing. Then you give up looking and but you like it so much you have to go buy another one and then when you buy it and come home, that’s when you find the lost one! But if you didn’t buy another one, then you wouldn’t have found the still-lost one.

- There’s a huge line at the grocery store or a retail store. Your line is going slower than a snail. The line next to you is speeding up. You go over to that line thinking you’ll get out faster but as when do, that’s when someone needs 10 price checks and the previous line you were in starts to speed up and you’re still waiting for those price checks when if you stayed in the previous line, you would’ve been outa there! BUT if you stayed and not moved over, that’s when the line you were first in would still be going slow and the line besides you would still be going speedy!
