Sometimes I think of all the “perfect” people in this world - fair, humble, diligent, likable, responsible, etc. It is difficult for me to believe they too are sinners. Then I think people who are unapologetically mean, cruel, rude, twisted. They are obvious sinners and no one likes them. It is difficult for me to believe they too need God’s grace and although they are sinners they need love too. The idea you cannot see into someone’s heart scares me. What if the person who I believe is saintly has a heart as black as coal and is in cahoots with Satan. Sometimes I wonder why can’t everyone be a super wonderful person that rarely makes mistakes. Do parents truly love their children equally if one is remarkably more difficult than others? Of course parents play favorites. Why can’t all children be easy to deal with?

So true… Some people are more “loveable” than others.

But always remember, love is an act of the will, not a feeling. Love is to will another person’s good. Sometimes the “good” kids actually get less love because they don’t require as much attention. You have to “love” the “bad” kid more with discipline, teaching, and focus.

Thanks for posting, I am right there with you.
