- God is Father - God , a loving Father, reaches for humanity and not vice versa.
- Christ is Savior - Not a system but a Savior.
- Grace brings Redemption - grace rather than works
- The world is our Mission Field. - Every other system in the world operates by an us-vs.-them mentality. Heathen and pagan are to be rejected. The infidel is to be converted or killed. The nonbeliever is outside the purview of the gods. Yet God calls us to a radical concept:
We are commanded to love our enemies and to share Jesus with those who hate us. Christ died for the world. - Christ Gives Literal Life - time has a beg, middle and end only in Christianity. He literally died, rose from the dead. His resurrection is the key to the Christian faith. Our physical body is important. God came into a physical human body. Our soul is not the only thing that is eternal.
- Christ gives Eternal life.- we know where we will spend eternity.
The very essence of Christianity is personal loyalty to our adorable Chief. In the idea of Christ is life; let the thought of Him once get touch of the soul, and it rises up, a living power, independent of all formularies of the brain. Let us save Christianity for our children by bringing them into allegiance to Christ, the King. How? How did the old Cavaliers bring reverence for not too worthy princes? Their own hearts were full of it; their lips spake it; their acts proclaimed it; the style of their clothes, the ring of their voices, the carriage of their hearts - all was one proclamation of boundless devotion to their king and his cause." Charlotte Mason, 19th century English educator.
