But does that mean that after that he had no use for the Old Testament, the four gospels, Paul’s letters, etc? Obviously the answer is no.

It’s easy to see how a Fundamentalist-style interpretation of 1 John 2:27 can be dangerous.

Isn’t it strange how many problems are like that? Like when atheists say “There is no god” when they ought to say “There is no god except the Lord.”
