We don’t need more Muslims. We need more faithful Catholics and more Catholic converts.
So it is essential to Islam to bomb buildings and to kill others. That wouldn’t be a “moderate” Muslim, but a “non-Muslim.”
Wow, thanks for that link. Well worth bookmarking.Actually we need people like this one:

There IS. This guy just isn’t.I guess there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.
Oh well, I tried.
From a Muslim perspective, it isn’t essential for the prophet to be a miracle worker. There are even verses in the Qu’Ran that deal with the possibility of Muhammad’s death. You’re right on target, and they don’t have a truthful answer for this. It was not revelation from God, but inspiration from elsewhere. He accomplished quite a feat, but for what real purpose?
Thank you. I’ve been to the Middle East, and studied about Islam. If one believes from the Muslim perspective, you will believe many false things. The Koran is indeed a cleverly deceitful document, and many people unfortunately have their rule of faith and life by it.From a Muslim perspective, it isn’t essential for the prophet to be a miracle worker. The idea is that Muhammad himself was just a man who happened to be chosen to receive the Qu’Ran. Outside of that role, he wasn’t supposed to be anything special. That’s what a Sunni would tell you, at least. A Shi’ite would believe that there was something special about Muhammad (and his descendants, for that matter), and would cite the miracles that happened to Muhammad, although both groups would tell you that working miracles was not his role.
They don’t worry about that, because that wasn’t his role. His role was to deliver the Qu’Ran. It isn’t wrong to ask them why, but it isn’t an effective question because Muhammad’s lack of miracles is not important to them.Thank you. I’ve been to the Middle East, and studied about Islam. The intent of “Christ Is Life” post was to compare Mohammad with other prophets, in the real world… to ask Muslims to look outside their falsehoods. Even within Islam, Muslims do believe in other prophets, of whom these prophets did perform miracles. Is it wrong to ask them to consider why it is that the one they held as the greatest and final prophet didn’t?
Some may actually start to think for themselves. That’s the issue. It’s one more thing to consider and chip away. Of course it isn’t wrong to ask them. They might think for themselves, and that might lead them to remain Muslim. I never implied that it was wrong to ask them. All I’m trying to say is that isn’t close to being that “magic bullet” question that will cause people to leave Islam. Some may actually start to think for themselves. That’s the issue. Please understand what was said… You had made the pronouncement that “It isn’t wrong to ask them why” to which I stated “Of course it isn’t wrong to ask them. Why in the world would it be?” I hope you understand why I said this. They might think for themselves, and that might lead them to remain Muslim. I never implied that it was wrong to ask them. Would you advocate putting all Muslims in detention camps or, maybe send them all to the Sahara?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_Stevens’_comments_about_Salman_Rushdie
Whoa, ok, I take that back. He’s been completely brainwashed.
Damm, that’s too bad. I used to love his music.

Aren’t they already in the Sahara?Would you advocate putting all Muslims in detention camps or, maybe send them all to the Sahara?
