Dear friends,

Please pray for me. I have a doctor’s appointment later today (Friday) to find out the extent of a back injury that I sustained in a car accident in early January. It has taken over two months for me to be referred to this specialist, and during this time I have been trying to keep faith (as Padre Pio said, “pray, hope, and don’t worry.”) Most days I have been able to put the worry away and just trust in God.

However, tonight my weak and foolish nature is prevailing, and I am unable to sleep for worrying. I prayed for a couple of hours before bed and still I am a nervous wreck.

I would be so grateful for any prayers for spiritual graces, strength, faith, comfort, and if it be God’s will for me, that I will receive good news tomorrow from the specialist (hopefully that I won’t need to have surgery, and that the long-term outcome won’t be serious).

Please pray that God will have mercy on me, despite my weak faith and unworthiness 😊

Thank you all so very much!

Lord, Morwenna’s struggle has tired her. Have mercy on her! As she nears the last leg of her journey, walk with her Lord, that she may feel you near, and take your hand. In your presence may she find strength and courage Lord, and place her worries in your most capable hands with the utmost faith in You.
Bring to her and this specialist your infinite wisdom Lord, and guide them in the determination of the extent of Morwenna’s injury and all that is required to restore her to bodily health.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O Lord, help us to remember that
when we are feeling alone, you are
standing with us, you are holding
us. Remove thoughts of worry from
our minds and give us strength.
AMEN

Thank you Prayerjohn, Diana Lynn, and pyropam.

Your prayers mean more than I can put into words.

Praying for your intentions.

Thank you so much to everyone who prayed. I got through the day with a calm and trustful spirit, so I’m sure that your prayers were heard 🙂

It seems as though most likely this problem will end up being very minor. If I’m still having pain in a month I’ll go back, but he felt that it should probably be OK by then.

Thanks be to God! :heaven:

I am grateful to the Blessed Virgin, St Joseph, St Philomena, St Rita, St Jude and St Anthony for intercession (yes, being the cowardly person that I am, I begged for prayers from all of them).

Thank you again to everyone who prayed and took the time to post messages. It really meant a great deal to me.

May The Lord strengthen you with Peace…and that the specialist’s news will be good news…
