Wearing hijabs, hundreds rally to support Muslim women

Hundreds of community members donning colorful hijabs stood in solidarity with Muslim women in Balboa Park on Monday, in a demonstration supporting San Diego County Muslims.
The rally began as a collaboration between the League of Women Voters of San Diego and the Islamic Center of San Diego but grew to include other organizations, according to Taha Hassane, imam and director of the Islamic Center. They included the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Interfaith Center for Worker Justice.

The event, hosted on the holiday observing the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., drew about 300 people. Most of the attendees were women.

“Women from all walks of life came to the event,” Hassane said. “Standing in solidarity with Muslim women at this specific time is very important in order to galvanize the voices in this community

Given that CAIR is a highly questionable organisation with links to terrorists, I would be wary of any event they participate in.

CAIR is an off shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and is very aggressive waging economic jihad in our society aimed at suing anyone who gets in their way.

I have read they have their hidden ranks within our own government. Makes me wonder with some of the policies our government has made, especially towards the Christians.

On World Watch, it stated the worst and most brutal persecutions towards Christians happened in 2015. North Korea is among the worst, along with 10 other Muslim nations who afflict the Christians continually.

The Muslim Brotherhood rejects the very concept of Human Rights, democracy and religious freedom (as per the teachings of their founder, Sayid Qutb, executed for his activities in Egypt in 1966) How any affiliate of theirs can rise to the prominence and influence that CAIR has is shocking. Membership or affiliation to the Muslim Brotherhood is nothing short of treason.
