Wearing the Brown Scapular

I lost track of which thread it was concerning the wearing of the Brown Scapular by someone allergic to wool.

Today at Church, I picked up a small pamphlet put out by The Marians Of The Immaculate Conception.

It clearly states, “The Scapular must be worn over the shoulders so that one piece falls in the front, the other in the back., although it is not necessary that the cloth be worn next to the skin.”

So it can be worn OVER a T-Shirt, as well as under it.

I imagine an allergy to wool would be a valid reason for wearing the Scapular Medal instead.
