It was sunny here today, but the snow hasn’t melted yet up here on the mountain. Downtown the snow is gone.

A high of 28 degrees (F) expected on Thanksgiving, and a low of 16. Not looking forward to that.

I think the high’s gonna be 57 here and the low 34. Cold during the night, but not too bad.

I’m visiting family in Florida this week. I always forget how humid it is here.

My mother used to live in St. Petersburg, she said there was a good bit of thunderstorms.

I’m not sure about St. Petersburg, but I remember Tampa always being a bit overhyped about how many thunderstorms there were. Then again, growing up in Florida, lightning is really standard for me, whether it be from thunderstorms or heat lightning. One of the weirdest things I found when in Seattle was how, for all the rain that they get, there’s rarely any lightning. Hearing thunder is a major event there.

Since my mother was a police officer there, does that mean she was KGB?

We just had our 1st winter storm of the season. Lived in South Carolina for 8 years, now I’m in the Midwest. South Carolina is too hot. Mass panic when there’s a freeze warning there.

Funny, I’ve also lived in the Midwest and South Carolina. I remember when I lived on the Illinois side of the river, when I lived in the Quad Cities, I’m not sure how familiar you are with that, but that’s Iowa Illinois border, and they cancelled School in Rock Island, where I lived at the time, because it got so cold, they thought the pipes were going to burst.

I checked, my dad’s family up in Davenport, Iowa I do believe got a lot of snow. I would prefer that they keep it. On average, where I live, it’s knows about once a year, usually in February. It can snow earlier, my friend who lived in Clemson, he gots snow one year on All Saints Day. Granted, I Clemson is only about a hundred miles from me. But on that day, the snow was as close to us as 30 miles away. we get more ice storms than we do snow storms, I’m always afraid that the power’s going to go out when that happens.

High winds today, top of 31C for the first day of Summer.Funny, listening to the wind all day is kind of tiring .I think I wilted along with the garden 🤔

It’s rainy today, but tomorrow, it’s going to be about 23.3 degrees C here tomorrow. And still rainy. I love the south (ern) United States, but the weather is weird.

That’s weird.

Rain that comes into contact with ground that is freezing cold will turn into ice.

Is there an ice storm coming to your area?

Be careful out there.
