Yes, any sort of moisture would be welcome. Temperature here this morning was -16C which translates to about 3F. However, all next week we’re supposed to have daytime highs in the mid 30’s. Perhaps my frozen garden hose can finally be wrapped up properly. LOL

Two big sporting events here this weekend and really bad weather is expected to hit all down the East Coast of Aus. It is spring and we are in La Nina conditions.
The big question is will the AFL Grandfinal be stopped on account of lightening if a thunderstorm hits.

Y’all, the low is going to be 34F. I live in the Deep south, the DEEP SOUTH.

Today is Melbourne Cup Day. The day and race that stops the nation.
There are no spectators on course this year due to Covid.
It will be 30 degrees celcius in Melbourne today, Gorgeous weather. The Jasmine, fragrant orchids and roses are filling the air with lovely scents. I love spring.

33F. I want to point out, this is not that bizarre of a temperature for South Carolina, it’s usually just more of a temperature, that we have in February

Last week we had our second snow…over a foot on the ground…lows in the 10’s F. Yesterday and today, it’s in the 70’sF and that snow is only in a few piles in parking lots! 🤣. I love Colorado!

Ohhh, I couldn’t stand snow this early! 😳 I don’t want snow until right before Christmas! And then, after New Years Eve, I want it all gone! 😂

The daytime temperatures here are pleasant in mid 70’s but last night with temps dropping down into the mid 30’s, I had to finally turn on the heat. Thermostat read 65° F and while I like it cool I knew if I didn’t turn it on, by morning my house would be more than just chilly. My goal each year is to at least make it to November before I have to use the furnace.

P.S. See related Maxine cartoon I just put on the post a cartoon thread.
