I wouldn’t do it, because I think simpler is better. And while email can be covenient, sending back a pre-stamped reply is pretty darn simple.

Also, consider the questions you’ll be asking:
  1. Are you coming?
  2. How many will attend?
  3. What is your meal coice (if there is a choice)
Without a form where they can easily fill in the blanks, I fear you’ll get some replies without all the information included.
Also, you would still need to give a self-addressed stamped envelope and reply card to those who do not want to or can’t reply by email. Since you don’t know who that will be, you’ll still have to put them in every invitation. Then it just seems a shame not to use them. If you do put the email option, just be sure not to shortchange the non-email responders by expecting them to get their own envelope and stamp. I would be bothered if that happened to me.

That happened to me:tsktsk: two years ago. It’s one of my pet peeves, so yes I was bothered.:hmmm:

Technical question - will you send invitations w/ the stamped RSVP card in each one, but still give the option of e-mail response? Will the folks replying by e-mail be throwing away a stamped envelope? —KCT
