The Easter season and associated rubrics continues until Ascension Day in May.

The Octave is a continuation of the Easter solemnity. That is why the Gloria is said at every mass this week and the preface is for that of Easter Day. In the LOTH all the psalms are those for Easter Day.

And the sequence Victimae PaschalI Laudes is said each day, after the Alleluia verse and before the gospel.
