Kazik and I no longer live in the same country but it’s not about drifting apart or anything. We had really good conversations on the phone but he was upset about my appearance so he didn’t want to hang out with me if I was visiting England. Hmm, it’s possible that’s what the 85% meant. 85% is a LOT of people and to be honest when I was living in America, I rarely smelled people wearing perfume.

Thy Kingdom Come, Wow that makes a lot of sense that it’s only people that are very thin that are talking about their weight, and that there may be people who are the same weight as me or more who just do not mention their weight. Thanks for that smart insight.

So I just joined a perfume forum online and I decided to post there, Do most women in Poland wear perfume? And everyone that answered was like, yes, Polish women wear it every day, it’s the finishing touch to their outfit…that makes me feel so bad…I was hoping to get the negative thoughts out of my system, expecting people to say most women don’t wear it every day but everyone is saying that Polish women do wear it whenever they leave the house. No wonder Kazik thought I was a loser and an embarrassment…it’s a cultural thing, it’s as if I didn’t bother to take a shower or wash my hair…I feel so bad about myself…

I’m sure it’ll be fun to get interested in the world of fragrance…but it sucks feeling like I HAVE to do it or people will look down on me :’(

I haven’t read the entire thread, but I was in your shoes for years to the point I actually developed an eating disorder. I read a lot about intuitive eating, ala* Health at Every Siz*e as recommend by another poster, and that helped with my recovery. I also had extensive bloodwork done, and found I had a lot of hormone issues. I am not giving medical advise, but ti is worth noting that many endos do not do the full battery of thyroid tests, and when they do they often interpret them in a very broad way. I paid for more extensive testing and found out that I had autoimmune hypothyroidism. Because I went undiagnosed so long, I ended up having to take T3 on its own, which is the less common form of thyroid prescription. One great site that deals with this is stopthethyroidmadness.com.

If you ever want to chat about diet, intuitive eating etc. please feel to pm me.

Blessings to you.

Okay, I now see you are at a healthy height and weight. I doubt there are medical issues at play here. I would suggest reading Health at Every Size though, as you really need to develop a healthier body image. Poor body image and restricted eating like this can lead to eating disorders over time. Please, please look after yourself.

Some issues cannot be helped or solved on CAF, especially if medical in nature. Please consult a health professional and receive the proper guidance and support.
