I picked this title up in a university bookstore a few days ago, and wondered whether any of you had actually read this. Before I read it myself, I’d like to know exactly what I’m getting myself into. I know that Weils’ “Letter” was sent to a Dominican priest in New York. What disturbs me is she apparently never received a reply. Were her questions too difficult to reply to in a single letter, or did the priest that she wrote to dismiss her as a crank not worth replying to?
I’d like to know your thoughts.
