Weird American Flag

A neighbor recently posted a weird flag in his yard. It’s like an American flag but instead of the proper colors, it’s in black and white, with one of the white stripes changed to blue. He’s obviously trying to make some statement with this strange-looking banner, but when I tried to look it up on line, I couldn’t find out what it meant. Does anyone on here know what it means?
 
It is supposed to be a symbol of support for law enforcement. Google meaning of black and white American flag. That’s where I saw it, but I don’t/ can’t do links. 😊
 
Try googling “Thin Blue Line American Flag” - it’s available thru Amazon.

Apparently an attempt to customize the American flag for support of law enforcement.
 
Oh, there it is. I tried mis-colored American flag and I got nothing.
 
That’s okay then. I’m glad they aren’t devil worshipers or anything like that.
 
At least it is not the pride or communist versions of the American flag.
 
A black and blue American Flag. Sounds as if its been in one hell of a fight lately.
 
There’s another version, with the colors “negatived” i.e. White becomes black, red becomes blue, blue becomes red.

I don’t know what that version means.

This is part of the Anti Black Lives Matter movement known as Blue Lives Matter. Reason is that the fear of being called racist is leading to more civilian and officer deaths in America. This isnt made up like most statistics or “facts” posed by such group. I frankly am not against the idea of Black lives matter, its just the fact that people are able to make LEOs jobs more difficult is unacceptable. Also, If black lives mattered, why arent they going after Planned Parenthood? But yeah if you want to ignore my rant and get the simple answer; It is to honor fallen Police, Paramedics, Ambulance, and if the flag has red, Firefighters.

I’ve never seen that one, but have seen one with black stars on an orange/yellow field, with stripes alternating black/blue or black/green.

If you stare at it without blinking for about 15 seconds or so, then look at a blank white wall, you’ll see the flag in its true colors.

Well where I live is super conservative. You will not see flags like those at all. More likely you will see upside down
American flags. And "come and take it " flags.
