Today, someone called me, because they wanted to hear what the voice of a demon sounds like. Their pastor literally demonized me from their pulpit. Basically, it was a Jesus Only pastor who could not answer the “face to face” argument from John 1:1.

In short,

“word was with God” The greek word for “with” has the meaning of sitting “face to face” like over a chess board or over coffee. Thus this proves that the Logos and God the Father are two seperate persons. If the third clause had an article , the before God in “the word was God” that would create a contradiction that “the word was face to face with God” vs “the word is that same God”. Anyone who knows a little greek knows that “the word was divine or God” is speaking about the nature of the Logos being that of God or Divine. Jesus only people read this text as saying the “word was God the Father”. But, that is not what is reflected in the greek grammar.

So, someone calls you up, to hear the voice of a demon, what would you say in response?

Myself, I am laughing it off.

I would have hung up

The pastor actually named you from the pulpit? As in, “There is this guy, Daniel Marsh, who is a demon.”? If so, that’s nutz.

Their pastor literally demonized me from their pulpit.
If the pastor named you and said anything defamatory, you could sue him for slander. Calling you a demon would not be considered defamatory according to the reasonable-person standard for defamation, but if he accused you of any specific wrong-doing, that would qualify.

God bless,
Paul

Wow, really happen, eh?

🤷 I might direct them to a local coven of pagans or Satanists I guess. The pastor really doesn’t want to hear the voice of a demon. It’s rather disturbing. This pastor needs some mighty prayers and a dose of holy water I think 🙂

Peace…

WOW that is awful! I dunno what I’d say. but I might call that pastor up and tell him a few things. (Not sure it’d do any good)
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet and so on in the deepest, growliest voice I could muster.
hahah I just did that the other day when people were all talking backwards and another started in with Dwarvish. Wait, isn’t backward talking supposed to be demonic? 😃

Should the Pope or the CC sue too?

If you call the Pope the Antichrist you should able to legally prove it.😃

Hundreds of thousands of Evangelicals as defendants in a class action suit? Hmmmm… :hmmm: $$$$$$$$

I would tell the caller to identify themself. If it was someone I knew, I would laugh it off.

If the caller remained anonymous or was “weird” in anyway, I would inform them to cease and desist immediately, then I would contact my phone company to trace the call and block it.

step 1. Pray the Rosary and offer your intentions for the person who called.

step 2. Repeat step one:)

:signofcross:

Serious answer: Hang up and pray for all those sorely misguided people.

Not so serious answer: “Oh oh, euh, well i’m on vacation you see. Ok just give me a sec to warm up (make growly noises, some do-re-mi’s) what’s my motivation???” Keep going like that until they hang up.

I’d ask them to wait while I got a tape recorder so I could record their voice and play it back to them. 😛

I would have told them hold on while I get my wife on the line.😉

Seriously, what is going on over there?
