Went through something similar as a High School student, pictures of myself and a friend, both Catholic, was passed around the local cult that was an Assembly of God break away group…the “pastor” called us the devil because of our counter propoganda work…

I got an email the other day with an mp3 with a radio show host responding to a telemarketer…He turned the conversation upside down from the start. He said he was an investigor for the homicid of said occupant of the place that was called and asked him about his relationship with the said deseased…it went on for minutes and I just died laughing in my office space…pun intended.
You have to prepare responses for foolishness like this.
