Doesn’t the Book of Job seem like an allegory from the perspective of Jesus?
Both lost everything, friends and position, in virtually one day, both had to endure great physical pain, including open wounds or sores, both lived perfect, upright, god-fearing lives, both felt that they had been “forsaken” by God, both were absolutely sure of their purity from any transgression, and in the end both “were raised” to much greater things.
When Moses would speak to God, He would go up onto a mountain.
Elijah went up on a mountain.
Jesus went up on a mountain during His Transfiguration, and Moses and Elijah appeared to Him.
Is it possible that it was at that moment that Jesus gave Moses the Ten Commandments?
It is also interesting to note that Moses represent the Law, and Elijah represents the Prophets.

Perhaps the Book of Job itself was a prophecy concerning Jesus…
