I have a moral dilemma of sorts.
It involves a website called Gaia Online, actually.
You see, like we have social groups, they have guilds.
I joined a Christian guild that allows anybody of any denomination or belief as long as they respect each other.
Well, during one of our topics, there was an argument with someone saying ‘I’m glad there are so many false Christians here’ referring to the people who weren’t religious, but joined the guild to learn, observer, ask questions, and debate.
When I defended them, saying they have a right to learn about us, that person replied “Learn from you? You’re openly bisexual. That’s a one way ticket to hell.”
Yes, I’m bisexual and they learned this from my signature. (Nerdy, bisexual…Christian. Yay me!)
I’m actually still arguing with them right now, saying I don’t practice it AND I didn’t specify if it’s morally right or wrong in my eyes.
I let people know so that they’ll understand that even Christians can have attractions like that.
Okay, ignoring the long story, I just want to ask and ponder, can a sinner be a good example.
I believe so, because we’re ALL sinners, but we’re not all bad people.
Even if there’s a part of us that’s bad, there’s always something good that we can share with others.
At least, that’s how I look at things…what do you think?
