Were the early Reformers right about anything?

I am just curious if any of the arguments the Reformers made against Rome were correct even in the slightest. I know that they were wrong in their double predestination, their sola’s and so on, but did they have anything good to say which was later taken into consideration and implemented by Vatican II?

I appreciate insights 🙂

Sure, The church needed refroming. They were right about that, but then it always does as do we.

They threw the baby out with the bathwater. Then they shot them selves in the foot, tied a tourniquet around their neck to stop the bleeding and set about dividing Christ’s body into competing mutually contradictory factions.
