There are no Anglican/Orthodox. There are ex-Anglican Orthodox, and (presumably) there are ex-Orthodox Anglicans.
Also of note is that the Queen is governor of the Church of England, not the Anglican Communion.

It also occurs to me that when Ridgerunner said “Anglican/Orthodox” he may have meant to say “Anglo-Orthodox”, which a small number of Anglicans designate themselves – kind of an offshoot of the term “Anglo-Catholic”.
 
I have an Anglican friend who is joining the Ordinariate later this month here in Toronto.

He and others like him have been directed to observe a “Eucharistic fast” and not go to Communion anywhere until that time.

He has trouble understanding this (this will be the first Easter in his adulthood in which he will not be able to partake of Holy Communion).

What could I tell him? (And I’m a sponsor for another Anglican when he is received into the Catholic Church).
