What 1 line inspired you to be more holy?

Sometimes just 1 line, 1 sentence, has a big punch. You could hear babble all day about the same thing and then this casual lone grabs you and makes you think. Bob Novack who converted from Judiasm to Catholic, said a woman at a party started the ball rolling with a line she forgot about after saying it…something about now being fleeting, but eternity is forever.

For me, it was Mother Angelica saying “Make your decisions your own, for when you die, even if it’s in a large disaster, you will stand before Jesus ALONE, no friends, no Mom, nothing.”
That really stayed with me…also a line about abortion. I was prochoice but then I heard on the radio, "Why is it a baby when you want it, you cry when you miscarry early, but “cells” when you don’t? "
Any you wish to share?

I suppose I have an odd idea of holiness…

That would of been my next favorite line…and so true!
 
“Do this in memory of Me”.

This gives me the desire to go to more daily Mass.
I don’t think I am holy, but I believe each time I go to Mass, Jesus’s blood and body wash away my sins and help me grow spiritually.
 
The last words spoken by Mary in the Bible:

“Do whatever He tells you”.

A few years ago, the priest at my church gave a sermon on the Wedding Feast at Cana. It was the most powerful thing I’ve ever heard. It still gives me goose bumps when I think about it.
