in abortion i stand on the side that is against abortion. id like to know where others stand.

I was for it as a teenager for the most selfish of reasons - I thought sex without consequences was a glorious idea. I started to turn away from abortion in my 20s and became strongly opposed to what I realized was the mass murder (much worse than the Nazi Holocaust) of truly innocent babies, all for the convenience of being able to have sex, sex and more sex.

BTW, I think the contraceptive mentality inevitably led to the legalization of abortion. Both regard the ability to have unencumbered sex as a right that must not be violated.

Sex without consequences is the god of the modern Western world, and abortion is the blood sacrifice offered thousands of times each day to that god.

It is intrinsically evil.
It is genocide.
The blood of the holy innocents cries out for justice.
The voiceless and choiceless ones are being murdered. :crying:

What about the recent case of the 9 year old rape victim with twins? Are you against abortion in that circumstance?

I am not.

I stand with the Church 100% against it. I wish the US Bishops would take a stronger stance, although some of them have…

Abortion is not acceptable under any circumstances. IT IS ALWAYS MURDER.
I’m assuming you are not a Christian or you wouldn’t hold such views.

Abortion is evil, to kill another for your own convenience is just sickening.

yes, the twin fetuses did commit rape.
See, your rolleyes is an admission that these babies have done nothing wrong - certainly nothing deserving of the death penalty. How come we can murder the truly innocent without any due process, while the truly guilty get years of trials and appeals and rights protected?

Abortion is the state sanctioned and assisted murder of an innocent person to solve a personal temporary problem.

“But it’s my body!” they will whine.

I like to pose a little situation. You’re up in a cabin in the high mountains, snowed in and without any phone but stocked with plenty of food and water. A lost child stumbles up to your cabin. Are you morally obligated to take in that child and feed and care for her for as long as it takes to get her back to civilization? Or are you allowed to turn her away to certain death, because “it’s my cabin, my food!”?
