What about blessing one's own house/home?

We are all considered priest of the Lord, though not ordained. I take that as authority to bless my own house in the name of the Lord. Am I wrong?
 
Hi,

All Christians can bless things. Such a blessing originates in them and is their personal blessing. When an ordained priest blesses something, the blessing is not his own personal blessing; it is Christ’s blessing because the priest ministers in the Person of Christ.
