Does anyone have any pictures of Eastern Catholic Churches (interior/exterior) that they can post?

The posting of pictures has been frowned on in these forums, as it overloads the servers.

How does it overload the servers? They don’t actually store the pics as I understand it. It is simply a link.

Beautiful! I’d like to see more pics of Eastern Catholic churches.

If you go to www.stmaron.org, and then click on the image of the bishop, as I recall, you will get a menu that will allow you to see a Consecration liturgy in Lebanon and that same bishop’s enthronement in Brooklyn.

Each day as I learn more about the Eastern Churches, I am falling in love with it even more.
You too?!?! 😉

I have to admit, the Byzantine style isn’t particuarlly of interest to me, not that I have anything against it. For me, it is the Oriential/Antiocean styles that I find fascinating and deeply moving… especially the Maronite Rite.

Please do limit the pictures to no more than 400 pixels across. It does slow the system.

Here’s what I found over at Byzantines.net:

So beautiful! Each day as I learn more about the Eastern Churches, I am falling in love with it even more. As St. Augustine did say, “my heart does not rest until it rests in Thee, O Lord.” And my heart is restless.
The Father Deacon in this picture is orginally from the Pittsburgh area, is married and was ordained a priest in Ukrainian Greek Catholic church. He was ordained in a hotel room in L’vov, Ukraine in the 1980’s by an underground Bishop.

He has since moved on to the Ukrainian Orthodox church but has a beautiful wife and children!

Wow, these are excellent pictures! Thanks everyone for sharing these 👍 👍 👍 👍
