What about energy psychology/ psych-k?

Have you heard of energy psychology or psych-k? I have just heard about them today. In brief, they are ways of reprogramming the sub-conscious ( i am not sure how yet). But it is suppose to be like a 10 minute thing. What does the church think about it? It seems kind of scary to me.
