What about living a homosexual life style while being a Benedictne Oblate?

I have a friend who has been an oblate for many years now. I recently found out that he lives a homosexual lifestyle with his partner. Am I missing something here? I did read about oblates and according to what I read, they commit to a really deep Christian life, including prayer and obedience to Christ. How do the Benedictines reconcile this lifestyle with his vocation?
 
Dear friend,

There is no reconciling committing sin and loving the Lord. Perhaps they are living together, but in a celibate way.
