…the future, or the past, or distant occurrences, w/o resorting to any potentially demonic “techniques” like palm reading, horoscopes etc.? Is it wrong? Where is it coming from?
A few years ago, a person reputed to have this gift just looked at me (at a party, pretty much out of the blue) and told me a lot of things about my future, most of which sounded ridiculous at the time. Many of them have since come true. And I would like the others to come true as well.
Was I wrong to even listen? Am I wrong to think there may be something to it, something not necessarily sinister? Can people be given this gift, just like others are given an ear for music or a talent for painting?
I’m not talking about old, saintly monks, who may be given something like this after years of ceaseless prayer - nothing dubious about that, but people living among us, possibly born with it.
