I don’t believe I’ve ever heard a Catholic bring up the wickedness of women having abortions without also mentioning the father bearing responsibility as well. The KofC spoke at my Church before Mass one day and denounced men who abandon the women they impregnate, leaving said women with feelings of hopelessness and no guidance. I wholeheartedly agree with holding (depending on the circumstances) men responsible as well.

If abortion was illegal like it is suppose to be, you could theoretically charge a dad (or anybody) for inciting violence, although this would be fairly difficult to prove in a court of law without a paper trail.

In the world that we live in, large percentages of the population compartmentalize their perceptions so that a child one week after it is born and one week before it is born is (somehow) significant, so it is hard to govern the issue when over a hundred million people in the US alone have major cognitive dissonance on the subject.

Before God, I believe men and women have equal stakes in their responsibilities towards children. It is not a “female” issue despite secular liberal politicians attempts to make it one. If you’re a male or even if you’re a female who is in a stable marriage or past menopause, secular liberal politicians want you to sit down and be silent, because it supposedly isn’t your problem.

Oh dear, I’ve lost track. Her account is always deleted within hours :man_shrugging:t2:

I’ll have to check. They may have all been deleted. It doesn’t matter anyways :man_shrugging:t2:

Besides the fact that we don’t use forced labor except for prisoners, if we implemented your suggestion we’d have even more men trying and likely succeeding in forcing more women to abort. It is not a solution, it exacerbates the problem.

This has been discussed before and it got shot down in flames then as well, there are two major issues, 1, privacy, 2, enforcement. How do you propose that both of these can be kept.

Huh, I didn’t know she was a “regular” occurrence, (I’m still kinda new to this site). I assumed it was a random person wanting to start a flame war, I figured this site gets someone like that from time to time.
I’ll pray for her though. 🙏

Over time, you’ll notice familiar positing styles and agendas. Many people return and try to circumvent their Permanent Suspension.

Wait and see. You haven’t been here long. I’ve seen people come and go more than once. Accounts are made and deleted regularly too.

Well, the dad always has the right to say, Will you marry me? If he wants to be part of his child’s life.

He does. He has no right to force a woman to marry him, however. He also has no right to save his child’s life if the same woman wants to kill the baby.
