Hi there,

I understand that the Dominican order prays a different form of the rosary according to their tradition as St. Dominic was commissioned by Our Lady.

I was wondering why the order has not incorporated the Fatima rosary prayer since the Church has approved Our Lady of Fatima to also be a valid Marian apparition?

Thanks for your time!

God Bless!

Hi,

Here in the US Western Province of the Dominican Order, we say the “O My Jesus” prayer between the decades of the Dominican form of the rosary. The Dominican form is basically the same as the rosary that everyone prays. It’s just the beginning that begins in the way the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin begins—with a few other minor differences. No big deal!
