What about the USCCB movie ratings?

Hello,

Is it sinful to watch a movie that the USCCB has rated “O” (morally offensive)? I wasn’t sure if the rating system is meant to indicate sinful movies or rather just advise movie-goers of a film’s content?

Hi,

Such movies could be an occasion of sin. Also, we shouldn’t fanancially support the making of such movies.
