What advice or tip can you give to others on Christian living?

One tip I can leave with people is to see Christ in all people both good or bad. You would never want to hurt them once you see them this way.
 
God invites us to love…even when it hurts.
View people the way He view us, With compassion and mercy.
 
Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself. 🙂

Never criticize others in public (especially your spouse) EVER. If you have a legitimate disagreement or issue with someone (especially your spouse) approach that person about it privately. If you have to warn friends or family about the dangerous behavior about someone else (which sometimes can be necessary), do so with that family member or friend privately. NEVER in public. 🙂
 
It’s much easier changing ourselves than imposing changes upon others.
Look to changing ourselves. (reminds me of the log in the eye parable).

Sometimes it may take weeks but I often find it lasting years.
 
Every person you see is someone God wants to make a saint…God intends to make you both fit to live with each other and with Him for eternity, and it will be bliss. Keep that divine goal in your imagination.
 
Don’t drink alcohol. Live life alcohol-free.

Alcohol use isn’t necessary for Christian living, so eliminate it.

You will never hurt anyone by choosing NOT to drink alcohol, but you may hurt someone(literally or spiritually) by choosing to drink alcohol.

Once you have chosen to live your Christian life alcohol-free, then never make a big deal out of it. Accept others as best you can, and be happy.
 
pray earnestly & regularly, read the bible, know the catechism, try earnestly to keep the 10 commandments. These are starters. Put Jesus’ words into practice. Go to church & remember - it is not a joke. :nope:
 
Great thread! Thanks for posting. I would add, although similar to some of the others - treat everyone else as you would want to be treated. And try to remember each and every time you receive the Holy Eucharist as a Catholic that it actually IS the body of Christ becoming one with our own bodies - not a symbol.
