My advice? Erratic behavior screams to me “addiction”. Add to that he uses pot?

As someone who is a recovering Alcoholic myself, I think that she should take a look at his partying. just my opinion… red flags going off everywhere on this one!

Like I had said they used to a lot when they were kids, but she said everything changed when they found out they were expecting which was great for them you know?! AND now he’s going back??? Doesn’t make sense to me either… I know that my fiance has been hanging around these guys a lot more too, I don’t want to get any ideas but I too am like hold on over here kind of attitude about things… so anyhow…and I mean they are both really hard working, just after he lost his job that was it…It was like his world came tumbling down and even though it’s wrong for him to react this way it’s even more wrong that she’s supporting him with 2 jobs while he smokes pot GOD knows how many times per day…Kind of makes me want to tell her to leave his bum *****… BUT again, this was just in a period of 1 year…Who knows if maybe after this weekend they really had a heart to heart and he’s going to better you know? I tell her though thank GOD he isn’t into porn and other drugs…then that would be huge problems for sure and there would be no way to really help him there…

I told her she better tell their priest everything other wise things will be left covered up and alll has to come out you know?! In order to get the best advise and help possible…She said she would tell…

*Sounds like a lot of settling and justifying going on. So many women do this. In her case, she has children with someone she is not married to, and feels she is stuck. I really think there are women who just feel any man will do…they will literally compromise everything about themselves to be with a man. Sad.

I think you are a good friend…keep praying for her. So will I! I pray that her fiance shapes up and becomes responsible and loving towards your friend. She deserves NOTHING less.
