I started praying nightly with my firstborn as soon as he was a few months old. He gradually learned them from hearing me repeat them. and as the others came along, (I have 7) they did the same thing. They could lead the Rosary by the time they were 3. I did the same thing with my grandkids. I had them while their mom’s worked. Kids learn so fast. And they knew all the nursery rhymes as well as many old songs I sang when I was a kid. God Bless. Sign of the cross they will start mimicking by a year- they won’t do it correctly, but they’ll understand “prayer hands” during prayer at dinner (short, repetitive things), and do a general body-sweep trying to emulate mom and dad/siblings .
