I was recieved into the Church tonight and what a wonderful experience it was. i was baptized, confirmed, and recieved the Most Holy Eucharist. i am really happy that God willed me to join His Church. it’s such an awesome feeling. i started this post so others that joined tonight could express themselves. Thanks be to God.:signofcross:

Welcome home! God bless you this day and forever!

Peace in Christ,

Congratulations. This truly is a great Church.

Seeing people received into the Church is very special- especially adult baptisms (for me).

Welcome home! 👍 The Church has now been strengthened through the addition of a new member. May Christ keep you in many happy, joyous, and blessed years. :byzsoc:

welcome home, and to all who became our full brothers and sisters this Easter, I know the whole RCIA process presented a lot of challenges and hurdles, but please, please participate in mystagogy if you are lucky enough to have it in your parish. The reflection on what has just happened is as important as everything else that has gone before, and you will find that as the Easter high and honeymoon fades a bid you do need support and someone to talk to. Of course, there is always the forum for that, too, but you need to grow in relationships in your new parish.

i agree with mass being awesome.
i remember the first time i went, not knowing what to do and taking communion because i didn’t know i wasn’t suppose to (oops), and just being punched in the face by the beauty of the mass. sundays are now my favorite day of the week.
my parish and the priests are all so friendly as well. people i didn’t even think noticed me were saying “congratulations” and “welcome” yesterday.
Praise God for the blessing of coming into His Church.
