I’ve seen videos of them. They look really fun and heartwarming. Has anyone ever went to one?
My church is going to an event in Washington, DC on January 22. I cannot attend because of a Confirmation retreat that day. I wish I could go.I have. I’m a pro-life abortuary sidewalk counselor and prayer warrior.
They are both very serious and very exciting. It’s wonderful to be in among the stirring fervor that the pro-lifers, in general, have in defeating the evil of abortion and contraception. They are very prayerful types…the types you’d think of as the cling to your bibles and your guns types. I love pro-lifers. They can be some of the nicest people you’d meet.
Are you planning on going to an event, or are you going to the March for Life?
You think they would at least have the smarts to check for grammar before printing them. I once ran into a Gay-bashing pamphlet saying “Got Adds Yet?”, just shows that education can make a play in ignorance. My wife and I go to the “Walk for Life: West Coast” in San Francisco every year. It is a really great experience and they usually line up a lot of good, inspirational speakers. People marching do everything from singing to praying. They tell us that it is a time to show your support for life, not argue and fight with those who are pro-abortion. For our part, we are peaceful and respectful. Basically, it’s the exact opposite of the typical protests seen in San Francisco.
On the flip side, being San Francisco, there are a good number of pro-abortion people lining the streets. It ranges from very bizarre (yet somewhat entertaining) to just sad. The other day I saw a flying on a bus to protest the “radical, right-wring, extremist Walk for Life.” I find it sad that people think supporting life is “extreme.”
Hi. This coming Friday (January 22nd) will be my 3rd time going to Washington for the March for Life. I was scared to attend all these years and finally did it! It was such an awesome and uplifting experience! It’s a sea of endless heads, marching peacefully. I never saw such a mob of people walking so peacefully and harmoniously and all having the same sentiments.I’ve seen videos of them. They look really fun and heartwarming. Has anyone ever went to one?
