What are some good quotes for expectant moms & new born baby’s, from the Saints, Popes, Bible, clergy, etc.?
 
:o I know this isn’t exactly what you are looking for because I A) can’t recall the saint who said this and B) can’t find the exact quote. So there’s that. But it left a huge impression on me when I became a new mother. I don’t have the quote, but I do have a journal entry from when I became a new mom and it was a reflection on the quote itself. Goodness, I really wish I could find it but even doing a Google searched didn’t yield anything. But here is my own reflection in it.

Now here I stand before you, your mother. You have nothing to offer me but your needs, your wants, your cries and your demands, and I am to offer you my everything. My body, my life, my identity, my everything. And it is through this that I slowly will learn what sacrifice and true love means. It is through this that I will give of myself entirely to prepare to be one day left behind, not empty and alone but hopeful that all I have given, all I have taught, all I have wished and dreamed and hoped will be fruitful in your life of Faith. My beloved, I would have it no other way. I am yours, now and forever.
 
I bought at the Catholic book store a picture of “A Baby’s prayer”

Didn’t Mother Teresa have some saintly quotes re. baby’s?😃 I just can’t find them right now?🤷
