Well, the list in Corinthians:
Love is patient, love is kind…

One could start with those two…

There was a story in the news a while ago about a police officer who bought shoes for a homeless man on a cold winter day. I’d say that’s a good example.

One of the best practical examples was given to me decades ago when the Campus Fellowship leaders were preparing us to go home for the holidays. We were enjoined to show God’s love to our family through service, to wash dishes, take out the trash, do chores no one else wanted to do. To look for things that family members needed and meet them before they could ask. I tried this and found I fell in love with the previously avoided chore of washing dishes. I came to love the immersion of greasy pots and pans into hot soapy water as an expression of my love for God. I have enjoyed washing dishes ever since!

Hello.

The Beatitudes have some good suggestions:

THE BEATITUDES (MATTHEW 5:3-12)
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven.
