What are some things you LOVE about the Catholic Faith?

I love the history, tradition, and certainty. The church makes no bones about being Christ’s Church, and calls things as they are.

Come on Joe1 , I am 82 years old and know a story when i hear one. Almost everything in the book has been retold so many times. The very worst evidence in a court of law is observed evidence.
And I am 16 years old. What is your point? The Church reiterates that they were real. And what do you mean by everything in that book has been retold so many times?

Joe1 I do not mean to do anything but seek truth.
And when posed with the truth from sacred Scripture you decide to claim it’s a story that isn’t real. Am I correct?

Edit: whatever you may be thinking I don’t know, if you are searching for truth I hope you find it. but anyway I will pray for you

I love being with real and solid Catholics who really live out their faith to the full as I know my heart mind and soul are safe with them .

The breadth of the Catholic Church, united in the Barque of Peter. Thanks to Pope Benedict XVI I can be a Catholic and retain Anglican Patrimony (e.g. the beautiful words of The Prayerbook, Anglican Chant, etc.)
Plus there are the Eastern Rites. And a treasure trove of devotions and graces.

If you mean to seek truth, don’t decry everything others say to you as a lie.

Adoration. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to sit in front of Our Lord no matter the circumstances of my own life.

Joe1 You are the one who is making the claim. I do not know and would like to see for myself. Is that too much to ask? Historians are the only one’s who have gone back in history far enough to help with new facts about where and how religions started. For example, Zorastrianism {spelling} is as far back as i have gone. They conquered the Jewish people and the Jewish people picked up some of their religion and passed them on to Christians. That is a brief summary. When people will not tell me, I go dig up the information.

I don’t have to re-invent the wheel as I had tried to do as a Prot. Plus, having such access to the immense treasury of grace has proven in my life to be a magnificent help as I travel through this valley of tears.

Lemonchello4021, I tried it once and got real high. To ignore the reality would be a sin if there such a thing. I was holy the minute i was born and had the rest of my life to live up to it. The catholic idea is good and catholic people are good that is why we have survived to this point in history. If we do not adjust to how fast new knowledge is coming the catholic church as we know it will be assigned to the trash dump.
