What are the Catholic Church's requirements for god-parents?

What are the Catholic Church’s requirements for god-parents in a 5mo. old baby’s baptism ? Do both god-parents have to be not only baptized but " Confirmed " ? I was told the Parish priest is requiring proof of Confirmation from both god-parents .
