What are the different beliefs of Catholic vs Protestant?

I am Catholic and I don’t know very much but know enough of my faith. Recently my son-in-law who is non Catholic/Protestant has asked me the difference between Catholic and Protestant. He said he wants to hear from someone who is not bias. I am so glad he has asked because we have been practicing Catholic and we encourage our grandchildren (his children) as well.

I have done my best to explain the difference, but I want to hear from you expert. Perhaps this will help hiim to become one believer someday. Any material or web site will also be grateful.
