I have two women who come every week to give me the Eucharist if worthy since I’m homebound. I’ve had a lot of trials which make me question whether I should have been born. Save that for another day. Anyway, one wants to hear what is going on in my life and the other doesn’t want to hear anything. Oh, and too we’ve become friends. I look forward to their visits since I’m also severely isolated and can’t get out, no transportation or people want to pick me up. I’m out in the country. Please understand there is nothing for me to do here. I don’t even have neighbors that surround me. Anyway…
What I want to know is do the lay people only give out the Eucharist or blessing if that’s the case and then leave or can you tell them your trials so they can pray for you?
If someone knows, I will abide by it. Thank you for your responses in advance.
