What are the general opinions on the FDLC?

Wondering what everyone thinks about this group and their publications? Are they orthodox, liberal? Is there a general slant in one direction or the other? Is it solid stuff?

Having been to the conferences, there are some on the extreme left and a few on the extreme right. However, some of them tend to shift towards the left. This group, it should be noted, tag-teamed with the NPM to hijack A New Song to the Lord and pretty much render it a paper tiger.
 
Can you explain that NPM reference a little more fully?

I was looking at the conference materials for the upcoming conference and they had documents named things like “the reform of the reform” but you need to be a member to read some of them. They seem to have a lot of bulletin inserts as well. It seems their members are supposed to be diocesan employee’s, priests and liturgy planners?

Any one else got an opinion?
