What are the guidelines for how the brown scapular should be made?

I have seen different versions of the brown scapular made online. Some have only one sheet of wool with a picture sown on it, as others are sown with two sheet of wool fabric to make one side of the scapular(these ones are like pouches or are fatter, wider then the ones with only one single sheet of wool)
My question is I have never seen where the guidelines for how the scapular should be made. Is there a book of rules on this by the church?

Cut two small rectangles from brown wool , attach ribbons, wear. If making the older type.

These days you can wear a medal or other brown materials.

You will see in there that 100% wool is no longer required, as many people are allergic to it. Pictures on it or not required either. There is much more information there as well.
