So in today’s reading from Tobit; Raphael tells Tobit and Tobiah that he is one of the seven archangels. The Catholic Church only officially recognizes three. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. So what are traditionally the names of the other four? I assume one would be Uriel who is the angel who speaks to Ezra in 2 Esdras ( 4 Esdras in appendix to Latin Vulgate) ; but what are traditionally the names of the others?

They are not named, at least in books that make up the Bible.

They may be named in extra biblical texts.

There are only three revealed through Sacred Scripture.

I would likewise safely assume that Uriel is a real saint in Heaven, since texts strongly point in that direction, and unless something is clearly doctrinally fishy I give mystical extra-Biblical texts the benefit of the doubt (the Levite priests who wrote them were either liars or not, and out of charity I default to the former), but he is not part of public revelation. There was other revelation by the Holy Spirit in the past and there continues to be up to the present day, but everything contained for salvation is in public revelation. Public revelation is binding to the faithful. Other revelation is not.

One of my favorite prayers is one recited before going to sleep, asking the archangels for protection during the night:

‘To my right Michael and to my left Gabriel, in front of me Uriel and behind me Raphael, and over my head God’s Shekhinah.’

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Archangels
"…where they are named as Gabriel (Sunday), Michael (Monday), Raphael (Tuesday), Uriel (Wednesday), Raguel (Thursday), Remiel (Friday; he is described in the Book of Enoch as having fallen from grace, possibly replaced by Phanuel (angel), who is the fourth Archangel) and Sariel (Saturday). "

Uriel’s name means, “Fire of God.” Traditionally he has been revered as the Archangel of Repentance and of the Damned and some apocryphal sources claim that he is God’s regent over Sheol/Hades (i.e. Hell).

Although Uriel cannot be found in Scripture, his name has frequently been a part of tradition and he has an important role in many apocryphal texts, such as the Book of Enoch, the Apocalypse of Peter, and 2 Baruch Although these texts are now considered apocryphal, various Jewish scholars and Christian theologians during the early centuries of the Church did believe that these texts had some credibility and Uriel was indeed venerated as an Archangel by the Church until the Council of Rome in 745. At that Council,*** Uriel and the names of many other angels and Archangels were removed from the official list (i.e. canon) of angels to be venerated to deter the growing trend of angel worship that was leading down the road to heresy. The list of angels that are worth venerating became confined down to only the three aforementioned Archangels.***

Due to historical and cultural traditions, many Catholics still do pray to Uriel and you find his statues and prayer cards in various Catholic bookstores.

This is true. The Book of Enoch was very important in early Christianity. Actually the Epistle of Jude quotes the book. The reason I find it interesting that thr church doesnt recognize him at all is because 2 Esdras is in an appendix to the Latin Vulgate along with 1 Esdras and the Prayer of Mannaseh. (Though they are numbered 3 and 4 Esdras in Latin Vulgate.) So although they aren’t in Catholic Bibles printed today, this book was in early editions of the DR Bible. See it’s something I’ve never quite grasped when churches put books as an appendix. Actually the Greek Orthodox Church puts 4 Maccabees in an appendix. So it isn’t considered scripture yet the Church is still saying it is useful to read. Not heretical. So why in that case wouldn’t it recognize Uriel, I am not sure. And yes he’s also in the very popular early Christian writing the Apocalypse of Peter; as an angel of repentance. This book was considered scripture by many early Christians.
